Washer fuse keeps blowing, can't find the fault

Hoping someone can help diagnose the problem with this! My 2007 Golf 1.9 TDI keeps blowing the washer/rear wiper fuse. The rear wiper is knackered (it used to go off randomly but now doesn't wipe at all) so I disconnected it behind the tailgate trim, still the same. Maybe the washer pump? They're cheap so I changed it, still blows the fuse. Just wondering where to look next?

Incidentally, the car has an aftermarket head unit fitted with an amp in the boot. The amp remote is wired to the boot 12v supply so the amp switches on with the ignition. All this is working correctly and was before the problem started a couple of weeks ago, so can't be anything I've done, can it?

Fuse 41 according to the diagram here https://fusesdiagram.com/volkswagen/...en-golf-5.html but the key says 'rear wash wipe' system. Front washers are on fuse 42 so it says. I'm not sure of the accuracy though, my Golf has 20A fuses fitted where the key advises 15A, so it's either wrong or someone has stuck 20A fuses in...

That is fuse box SB so a VAG diagram would call it SB41. I will have a look at work tomorrow. Incidentally fuse box SA is the strip at the front of the box and SC is the one in the side of the dash.

Ah, wait; it is the fuse box in the side of the dash, so SC41. It is the fuse box titled
Fuse box in passenger compartment Volkswagen Golf 5.''
about halfway down that web page. Sorry, didn't think to look at the other boxes having a fuse 41...

Yeah, that's exactly what's buggered. Thing is, I've unplugged the rear wiper and replaced the washer pump so not sure where to go next... Wiper stalk maybe?
