2011 Golf Match 2.0 TDI problem

    Hi all,

Looking forward to using this forum for advice and just for general reading!

I have a 2011 Golf Match 2.0 TDI which is great (apart from the fact it pinged up the coil light yesterday).
My other half has a 2018 Beetle R Line 2.0 TDI DSG with about every option on it and it's lovely.

Hoping one day to treat myself to a Mk7.5 Golf R

    Cheers

You have already made an intro is your mind getting blocked with this COVID-19 crap?

I'm assuming this problem is with your 2011 Golf 2.0 TDI as that is what I've added to the title or the Beetle coil light will be heater plug warning light on the dash?

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

    Hi Keith,

I thought I had too but I couldn't find it in the 'my posts' area so thought to introduce myself again.

Yes, the issue is with the Golf. Here is a photo of the codes the car pinged up. My mechanic has said it needs a new EGR valve and recommends I go for a genuine VW one which I agree with. The car has already had 2 non genuine EGR's which I imagine is why they have failed.

Sorry its a waste of time posting that P0403 error as when I do it says as every time I do:

I'm posting spam in error codes which is total when I've been posting error codes for years.

That is another bug with this good VW forum which no one will fix.
