    Polo 1.9 SDI 9n (2002, 64PS [47w])

Hi all, I picked my 2002 Polo 1.9 SDI 64PS... Its done about 150000km. Im worried cause oil consumption was 0.7l oil in 1500km. I changed whole oil (4.3l) twise and same happened. Is it normal for my car?!

Extra info: before i bought it, he used Mobile 10w/40, but my oiler said that i need fully sintetic oil for it and i used Shell Helix oil 5w/30 (dont remember which one) and after that Shell Helix Diesel Ultra Extra 5w/30 (oilman explain to me that oil exceeds some VW spec and if im worry about oil spending than I need to look engine - not oil 'cause he garantee for it).

Its about 3 weeks from last service when i tank 4l of that oil (with changing all filters: for oil, air, fuel...) and done about 1500-1600km (almost 1000km across Highway, max speed 130km/h because i didnt wanted to push him off and rest is in urban normal drive never above 3300 rev) before yellow led turn on so it spent about 0.7l oil.

I though that its too much, but find out it as a normal spending on some forums...

Fuel consumption is ok, in urban about 6.5l, on highway about 4.x litres. There is no smoke, I doing regular services...

Can you suggest me to do something? Should I refill oil every 1000 km and if i should when I need oil service? Should I use Castrol (Magnatec 10W-40 A3/B4) or Total oil 'cause of VW spec that Helix maybe didnt exceed? Maybe open engine to find some solution? (local mechanic told me that there is not leaking from engine)

Im not car expert and im just decent driver who use car for going from A to B. But I love my car and care about it always wanna best for it and if i need some parts i always try to buy better (and more expensive) then to look up for bargain.

    Thanks
