Caddy gearbox code?

Hi there!

I'm from Belgium.
I have a 2011 Caddy with a 1.6 TDI ( 75PS ) engine.

Unfortunatly my gearbox gave up. The reverse isn't working anymore and the previous owner kept on driving with it and now it's broke.
So i need a replacement gearbox. But i can't find the codes of fitting gearboxes.. Does anyone know which will fit?

A website tells me 0A4, but i can't find much about it. Are there other gearboxes that will do the trick?

Fixing the gearbox is not an option because i need the car every day.. So it has to be a swap..

Oh indeed, i didn't read the rules i'm sorry!

Thanks for the info, but i see that there are 2 types ;
0A4 with 5 different codes and
02E with 2 different codes.

Mine is from 2011 so i'm guessing i would need a 02E gearbox with either MSV or NLP code.

Or am i thinking wrong and are the 0A4 with those 5 codes also compatible? Even if they are on the list for later model years?

What can't you follow? I posted different gearboxes fitted to 2011 Caddy as an example of 0A4 Gearbox which you said. Don't you have a data sticker?

i've found the data sticker.

It says engine CAY and transmission LZY.

So this is the only gearbox i can fit probably?
Can't open the vag program because of Ubuntu..

Look again on the data sticker that will show the full engine code.

The sticker on the timing belt cover as a letter missing.

The LBT was 11/2008>10/2009 Caddy only but in theory with a few changes you should be able to use FZU, HFN, JJS, KBQ, KHH, LBU, MBS, MBU and MHR but the most direct alternative is the MBS with the FZU, HFN and JJS being close with a clutch lever change.
