Hi can anyone help me?
I bought a car from volkswagen in February since then its been having several problems clunking noises when pressing breaks, screen blacking out for whole journeys due to reverse camera staying on then cutting out, wing mirror sensors not working consistently, Bluetooth connection to phone constantly cutting out and reconnecting, heater not clearing steamy windows.
When ringing volkswagen they do not seem tp have any empathy at all. I had it booked in last month (an appointment I had to wait 2 months for) but due to me not taking my driving license I couldn't leave it there and a service employer come out in the car and tried to hear or see the problems but of course it didn't to them at that time. Alsp tried to fob me off with reasons why these things may be happening. I've booked in again and having to wait a further 2 months.
Now I'm being told if I hand the car in to be looked at I have to pay ÂŁ20 a day for insurance on a courtesy car when none of these problems are my fault My local volkswagen closed down very soon after I got my car now if I knew that was going to happen I wouldn't of purchased the vehicle now I have to travel 40 minutes how can they not provide me with a courtesy car anyway out of sheer inconvenience.
If anyone could help and let me know what my legal rights are or if theres anything I can do or say to volkswagen as this is really getting me down.
Thanks
