New to here so forgive any ignorance. Attempting to change the front discs and pads on my '06 Passat b6. Couple of problems encountered so far. Number one: I have rounded off the torx head bolt in the back of the calliper. There is limited manoeuvrability and I don't have a workshop, just my driveway. Any tips for removing said bolts? Number two: The disc retaining bolt has sheared off in the wheel hub (this one was not my doing), any tips on removing this bolt?

The M6x1mm screw for the disc will have to be drilled out and the thread restored or the wheel bearing and hub replaced; or you could drill and tap a new thread using the disc as a guide as long as the broken screw is flush. The caliper bolts will need heat and or drilling to get out and new bolts ready from VW.
