So this kind of kit is what I'm shopping for.., but with Bilstein yellow bits (is B12 not a successor to B4 I'm guessing?)

I am not a fan of the B12 fronts, I have had a number of them fail in various VW versions such as Golf 2 and 3, on a Golf 1 I had to get the car recovered from London to Nottingham as they lost so much oil the car was almost undrivable and the oil went all over the front brakes, I was not amused! On my own Octavia I have not long ago fitted Eibach Pro springs but with Koni Active dampers which are amazing... very clever technology. If you do use a conventional front damper design, remember to use the bump stops from the Polo GTI, 6Q0 412 301 A, they are shorter, £15.50 each, genuine only.
