Hi, Would anyone be able to explain how to test if the glow plug relay module is faulty uisng a multimeter?

There is no prescribed test, the J179 has diagnostic feed back to the ECU and can be operated in output tests.
17 - Fuse 28 in the engine bay, permanent live
24 - Fuse 10 in engine bay, switched live
168 - Permanent earth
177 - ECU command
178 - ECU comms
