'Button for driver assistance systems faulty' message on dashboard.

Hi all, hope everyone's well. Got this message on the dashboard and mfd intermittently over the last week. The message is now on permanently on the display and is now showing much more often on the dashboard. There are no warning lights or any other problems with the car so I was wondering if anybody has had this problem and if so maybe a solution?

Hi Crasher. The VIN is WVWZZZAUZFW123370.
Just an update that I've noticed today when driving, the message clears when I indicate right and returns when i turn off the indicator. I turned it off very gently and the message showed No entries available on the display. As soon as I gently moved the indicator stalk the message returned. I'll try to post the pics of the messages.

Just an update for anyone who might have the same issue. Looks like it's the button on the end of the indicator stalk (I think its the cruise control button) that is faulty which is exactly what the display is saying. It is sometimes ok but the slightest touch brings the same message up.

Yeh it was the indicator stalk that needed replacing. Cost me just over £200 supply and fit and was done at a local garage within half an hour.

Yeh the whole thing but there are several different ones so make sure you get the right one if you're doing it yourself. I got my local garage to do mine which took them no time at all.
