Hi guys I've got an 11 plate caddy, 1.6 tdi with a misfire. Code is p0202, replaced injector 2 but still same issue. Do these suffer from anything else that I can check? Thanks

You seem to have a few motors or your a garage posting problems?

VAG Error Code: 16586/000514
EOBD II Error Code: P0202

Fault Location:
Injector 2 (N31) - Circuit Malfunction/Open Circuit

Possible Cause:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)(K83) active.
Lack/Loss of Power.
The engine may be harder to start.
Engine hesitation.

Wiring/Connector(s).
Injector 2 (N31).
Engine Control Module (ECM).

Possible Solutions:
Check/Replace all faulty Wiring/Connector(s).
Read Measuring Value Blocks (MVB).
Low side signal current < 2.1 A.

When is the code detected?:
The P0202 is set if the Engine Control Module (ECM) is detects a low or high voltage drop or resistance at the injector 2.

Description:
Engine Control Module (ECM) checks the injectors circuit resistance and monitors the voltage drop during normal operation. The Engine Control Module (ECM) will trigger the P0202 code when the resistance or voltage drop at the injector 2 is out of specifications.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I work at a garage, don't own all these cars that I post about. Still got the caddy with the misfire, more noticeable on idle, I drove it 10 miles today with no problem until you hit and junction and stationary. Can hear a noise which sounds like a diesel knock, original code was p0202 which is why I replaced injector 2 but still no joy, do these suffer from anything else?
