Hi,
Just joined the forum. We've got a 1996 LT 35, 1st gen shape. I love driving it but it's been converted to a horse box and has a few rust problems (no surprise there).
I'm looking to get some of it done and the one that I just couldn't even attempt myself is around the corner of the windscreen. Water is coming in and has holed the inner panel as well. I could take the window out but never get it back it. Is there a restorer or LT friendly garage somewhere near Kent (I'm close to Dover) that would take this on? Or will I need to go further afield?
I posted this in another forum first but was told that first posts usually go in the intro section so here I am!
I've also been asked how I don't even know what size engine our vehicle has got so I'll explain here in case it troubles anyone else as well.
Our LT35 has been converted in to a horsebox. My wife went and bought it without me. She bought it from another horsey-lady and they don't care about engines. They care about the thing with 4 legs that goes in the back. They ask questions like 'how easy is the ramp to lift?' or 'is it a side loader?'. I ask questions about service history and stuff like that. I couldn't believe she hadn't asked.
Anyway, we don't have the v5 yet so I can't be sure what's under the bonnet.
Thanks,
Rod
