Good afternoon, i'm running 2007 Touran 1.9 TDI. I have a slight misfire on idle and when driving under load.
I have ran fuel cleaner(redex) through the system but no difference.
Can it be a faulty injector?I have an OBD hand held scanner which shows no codes but have on order the scanner suggested to read VW codes.
I still have great fuel economy and if driven gently, the misfire is almost non existent.
Should I try changing the fuel filter first?
It definitely feels fuel related.
Is there a recommended mileage for replacing the injectors?
Car still starts as it should, no overheating. Only lack of power under load but derivable with care.
Is there anything else i should be looking for?
If its injectors, i read that i should replace the saddle clamp bolts at same time as well as the seals. Where can i get them?
Once the new scanner arrives, i will update with any codes found.
Any help gratefully received.
Other than this, the car runs well. A few electrical issues but not for this post and less of a priority too.
