Hello everybody,

I have P2002 error and I think maybe is the sensor, but when I opened I see two sensors and I need your help.
Below are the images:

My question are:
1) What do these sensors? What does the left sensor and what does the right sensor?
2) Why the left sensor has only one input and the right sensor has two inputs (hose)

Have a nice weekend,

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

VAG Error Code: 19226/18434/008194/5182/5182/5189
EOBD II Error Code: P2002

Fault Location:
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Trap, Bank 1 - Efficiency Below Threshold/Malfunction

Possible Cause:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)(K83) active.

Exhaust Gas Pressure Sensor 1 (G450) faulty.
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) faulty.

Possible Solutions:
Check/Replace Exhaust Gas Pressure Sensor 1 (G450).
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).
Perform Diesel Particle Filter (DPF) Emergency Regeneration (Refer to Specifications!).
Check/Replace Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).

Special Notes:
Skoda Superb (3U) & VW Passat (3B) (Engine Codes: BGW, BSS, BWW) had issues with faulty Exhaust Gas Pressure Sensor 1 (G450), they were defective from factory and due to a leaking sealing the measured values were incorrect and resulted in wrong calculated particle filter load and unsuccessful regeneration cycles.
With CBEA and CJAA engines, the factory documentation may show the wrong part location for the Exhaust Gas Pressure Sensor 1 (G450). This sensor is in a foil pouch just behind the oil cap.

Hello Keithuk,

Firstly excuse me for my English and secondly I didn't know I shall upset someone with my post. If you want you can delete it or move where shall be.
I read something about these sensors but, I don't find anywhere how I shall differentiate them.
From your point of view the left one is G450 and the right is G505?

Best Regards,

You need to calibrate the new sensor.
